And the latetest collaboration is..

So, I'm wide awake at ungodly hours of the night. How tipical of me. And I was so surprised to see that HMs latest collaboration will be none other than Versace. Hmmm, Versace is not one of my favorite labels but I'm sure the collection will be a great success among the shoppers. My favorite collaborator will always be Karl Lagerfeld.. How could you ever top that? I have to say.. Lanvin's was a great one too! Let see what Donatella comes up with.. Maybe she gives us a surprise!

World class Intern!

Philip Treacy can boast of having a world renounced intern, non other than Lady Gaga herself! .. talk about being Lucky! According to Vogue UK the singer applied for an internship a while ago and nothing is still settled. I personally think that if this indeed goes through, she will have a great opportunity to learn how to manufacture all those flamboyant hairpieces that she loves so much (the designer is responsible for a lot of Lady Gagas's most iconic looks like hair bow, the flower, the feather nest..) , and Philip Treacy will get a whole lot more publicity.. don't you agree? Just think of what the things she'll be able to create once she gets all the "how-to's" on manufacturing and designing, wow!

Everyone calls me Coco, I'm mad for Chanel

Low and behold! "Remember Me" the film directed by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel is finally here.. And it doesn't disappoint it's got all the glamour, luxury, elegance and poise that represents Chanel. And, since this is Saint Tropez we are talking about the parties couldn't be left out. My favorite part was the ending! Take and look and judge for yourselves!

Marc Jacobs has designed these USB hobs that resemble the long forgotten mixtapes... Oh! The Nostalgic galore!, they all have three USB ports and have clever artwork on the sides. I'll take one of each please.

Traveling in style..

The Maison Louis Vuitton will be designing a Travel Case for the 2010 FiFa World Cup Trophy! This is what I call traveling in style. Antoine Arnault, Head of Communications for Louis Vuitton, said:

We are very proud to have been chosen by FIFA to dedicate our know-how to creating the case for the most beautiful trophy: the FIFA World Cup Trophy. From the legendary bed-trunk developed by Georges and Louis Vuitton in 1868 for the explorers, to the case for the oldest sporting trophy – the America’s Cup – and the special order for the iPod case from a well-known designer, the Maison has always combined clever and elegant ways to satisfy the very specific needs of its clients.

The Traveling Case is still in design and will be presented at 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa.

The fashion god himself, Karl Lagerfeld will realease a 17-minute film later today. "Remember Now" was written and directed the Kaiser, featuring Elisa Sednaoui, Heidi Mount, French actor Pascal Greggory and Abbey Lee Kershaw.
The film was presented at Saint Tropez where Chanel's Cruise 2010 collection was also launched. Here's the 48-second trailer! Enjoy.

Anna Sui is a Book Worm?

Another designer has decided to give us some reading material. And I'm loving it! Anna Sui has paired up with Jil Sander to publish a book that will retell her experience in the industry for the last 20 years, her relationship with world-renounced models, and all of the stars, starlets and rock stars she's dressed. This book of memoirs is a nice surprise considering how shy she is during her shows.. Almost running back to the backstage after the runway walk.
Sui has not written the enterity of the book contents but rather a foreword, the remaining 400 pages of the book are compliments of Costume Institute curator Andrew Bolton , a preface by Jack White and an introduction by Steven Meisel. Can't wait to see what the Bohemian-Rock and Roll designer has in-stored for us.
